For the car this month, we head back in time, past most of the modern cars we have featured, all the way back to 1971 at Ferrari’s Maranello factory. Enzo Ferrari wanted something of a “lower” cost sports car to fit in the market segment below his masterful V12 GT cars. Enzo, however, didn’t want to cheapen his cars, or diminish the brand’s exclusivity, so he named this subgroup “Dino” cars after his son Alredo “Dino” Ferrari.
